1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ANKON platform ("Platform") operated by Anadolu Network ve Kariyer Organizasyonu (ANKON). By accessing the Platform or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
2. About the Platform
ANKON is an AI-powered mentorship platform that connects university students ("mentees") with experienced professionals ("mentors"). The Platform provides matching, session scheduling, and Google Meet link generation services.
3. Account Creation
- Mentee account: Can only be created with a valid institutional email address ending in
.edu.tr. - Mentor account: Requires an application and administrator approval.
- You are responsible for ensuring your account information is accurate, current, and complete.
- You may not share your account credentials with third parties.
- If you are under 18, you must obtain consent from your legal guardian to use the Platform.
4. User Obligations
When using the Platform, you are obligated to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Not use another person's information or identity
- Refrain from actions that could compromise Platform security
- Treat other users with respect
- Comply with applicable Turkish and international law
5. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing misleading, fake, or spam content
- Selling commercial products or services through the Platform
- Accessing the Platform using automation tools (bots, scrapers, etc.)
- Collecting or using other users' personal data without consent
- Attempting to damage Platform infrastructure
6. Session Rules
- A Meet link is automatically generated via Google Calendar for confirmed sessions.
- Session cancellations must be made through the Platform within the designated timeframe.
- Mentors and mentees are obligated to treat each other respectfully during sessions.
- The Platform does not monitor session content; however, records may be consulted in the event of a complaint.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and software on the Platform is owned by or licensed to ANKON. For user-generated content (profile information, reviews, etc.), the user grants ANKON a limited, royalty-free, and transferable license for the purpose of operating the Platform.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
ANKON may suspend or permanently close accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Platform without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is." ANKON does not guarantee that the Platform will operate without interruption or errors, or that the mentorship relationship will produce specific results. ANKON's liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Turkish law. Turkish courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
